Masters in Metrology for Industrial Quality from the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC/RJ). He is a specialist in Industrial Management of Immunobiologicals from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Coppe / UFRJ) with certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institut (PMI). Graduated in Engineering from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).

In Bio-Manguinhos since 1995, he worked as a validation specialist, was manager of the Metrology and Validation Laboratory (Lamev) and held the role of manager of the Implementation Project of the Henrique Pena Center (CHP), which has industrial kits for diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals and, more recently, production of the API for the Covid-19 vaccine, in addition to a pilot plant.
